Frequently asked questions
Are your Maine Coons vaccinated and health-checked?
Yes! All of our adult Maine Coons are fully vaccinated and have been extensively health tested against many diseases, including Factor XII, HCM, SMA, PKD, PRA, PK-Def and blood type. This means that offspring will be clear by parentage. Kittens are also fully vaccinated, including additional protection against feline leukemia, and vet checked at least twice, before they go to their new homes.
What is the adoption process for your Maine Coon kittens?
Please read through our 'Adoption Process' under the 'Kitten Information' tab.
How do I book a viewing of a kitten I'm interested in?
Once our kittens reach 9 weeks old and our vet has given them a clean bill of health, they will be available to reserve. A form will then become available on the litter page. Please complete this form where you'll be able to specify which kitten you're interested in. We'll then arrange a video call, where you'll be able to meet the kittens, and I can answer any questions you might have.
Do you provide aftercare support for adopted Maine Coons?
Yes! Not only will you be provided with a kitten care sheet at the time of collecting your kitten but we also provide comprehensive aftercare support and guidance to new owners and breeders, to ensure the well-being of our adopted Maine Coons.
Do you offer Stud Services?
Occasionally we will offer our males up for stud duties. This is usually when we don't have Queens ready to be mated with. Our males can get frustrated and seek out females. Please enquire to see if our males are available.
What is the price of your Maine Coon kittens?
Please refer to the 'Pricing' tab under the 'Kitten Information' tab, where you'll find everything included in the price of our kittens.
Do you have any older/retired Maine Coons for adoption?
Occasionally we will offer an adult Maine Coon for rehoming. These are usually adults that have finished their breeding journey or perhaps are not suited to a busy household and would prefer a quiter life. These cats may be offered neutered/spayed as Pet only or occasionally Active to the right person. If you are interested in an adult Coon rather than a kitten, please enquire in good time as we have many requests and once we have an adult one available, they don't stick around for long!
Do you offer a waiting list?
After careful consideration and past experience, we have stopped offering a waiting list, due to a couple of large factors:
1. Choosing people off our waiting list was proving too stressful and we didn't feel good about letting so many people down by not offering them a kitten.
2. Sometimes we'd choose someone off our waiting list and offer them a kitten, only to find their personal circumstances had changed or they'd found another kitten elsewhere.
Therefore, kittens will be available to reserve through our website, only after they've had their initial veterinary health check at 9 weeks old. Please read through our 'Adoption Process' under the 'Kitten Information' tab, to find out how to reserve a kitten.
